Cindy Quan?Organized and Moderated the 17th AIPLA Women in IP Law Global Networking Event

On April 18, 2024, the “2024 Global Networking Event” organized by the Women in IP Law Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) was successfully held worldwide. With the theme of?“Cultivating Leaders”, the event aimed to help nurture and cultivate future leaders in the profession and further promote the communication?and cooperation among?women in the global intellectual property field.

 

As the co-chair of the event, Cindy Quan, Senior Partner of Long An Law Firm, successfully organized?and moderated?this year’s networking?event. At the opening ceremony, Quan delivered a welcoming speech, expressing a warm welcome to participants from all over the world?and extending her best wishes for the event’s success.

 

The event covered?participation from nearly 50 cities across Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Latin America. Each city hosted an on-site?event. Additionally, to facilitate?interaction among global participants, the event featured four video conferences, which allowed?the host cities to communicate and greet each other?in real-time across time zones, and to discuss the latest developments and trends in the field of intellectual property.

The AIPLA Women in IP Law Global Networking Event, which aims to enhance networking and communication among intellectual property practitioners around the world, is a global event for the intellectual property community and has received an overwhelming response every year since its launch in 2007.?The event not only provides a platform for female legal professionals to communicate but also plays an active role in promoting diversity and inclusion in the global intellectual property arena.
